Went to a Children’s Literature Conference yesterday.
Got encouraged again. Some of those authors submitted upwards of ten books before making their first sale.
I’m only 0 for 1. There’s still time. And hope.

I think it’s good that you went to a conference so you could put your own experience into a larger perspective. I’m trying to do the same thing, Ronni — not at a conference, but in reading about other writers’ journeys. Hang in there; we’re waiting and writing with you. 🙂
Do you actually think that you had a choice though? What did I tell you? You give up, I will be VERY unhappy with you!
Good job Little One!
is that now what I’ve been telling you??? You totally have many, manny more opportunities/chances.
Lots of time! Lots of hope!
Good for you!
Now get back to work!
of course there is.
don’t give up, keep going. Keep writing. Keep submitting. persistence and determination are the key. And you’ve got folks here who are willing to be cheerleaders for ya….
in fact here is a row of cheerleaders.

YOU CAN DO IT! YOU WILL DO IT!! NEVER GIVE UP!!
😀
I’m glad you were able to talk to people who have been there and done that!!!!!!! It makes a huge difference.
there definitely is!
I have been extremely busy past few weeks and w.o my laptop for 2 but I did want to let you know I intend to reply to your last email with more comments on crush soon
The best thing is to remember that you KNOW your writing is good enough.
That first book could always end up being pubished later, anyways.
Of course there is still time and hope! Glad to see the conference put your mind at ease and set you in the right direction emotionally. 😉 Good luck!
